The Health & Safety Event is the UK’s largest gathering of those responsible for running a safe and efficient workplace taking place at the NEC, Birmingham 5 – 7 April 2022.
With a unique range of seminars, practical workshops, and exhibition halls, it attracts thousands of workplace professionals from the industrial, commercial, and public sectors.
On Thursday 7th April at 11am, UKATA representative Emma Willey will take part in the Knowledge Exchange Theatre’s “Role of the modern-day health and safety professional” seminar. This session will examine the role of the modern-day OSH professional and how this role is diversifying to cover health and wellbeing. With over 30 years’ experience of working within the asbestos industry and a decade of working on wellbeing issues, Emma is uniquely placed to join the panel discussion. Combining knowledge of health, safety and employment law, with personal experience of daily work within the industry both on site and behind the scenes.
The Health and Safety Event is co-located with three other leading sector events covering over 20,000sqm at the NEC, meaning more content, more products, and more exhibitors.
