UKATA is pleased to announce its participation in the Forum for Environmental Mapping and Remediation Expert Meeting 2024.
The event will be held in Norway on 11th – 12th November and see industry professionals from across Europe meet to discuss important topics within the asbestos field.
There will be a variety of speakers and professional meetings with topics in environmental mapping, reuse and asbestos. The event promises two days of exciting professional replenishment and plenty of time for industry colleagues to network and exchange ideas and perspectives.
Speakers include UKATA Director, Adam Harding with his session on “Training Requirements”. Adam began his career as a science graduate, was employed as an environmental consultant and then subsequently as a surveyor and project manager. He has furthered his education with BOHS and NEBOSH technical qualifications in subject areas including Health and Safety, Asbestos and Legionella Management. Combined with his training qualifications he has provided training at all levels to clients in a range of sectors. More recently his experience has been in senior roles within a leading Health, Safety and Environmental Consultancy and as a Director of UKATA.
The 2-day conference is being hosted by Asbestforum along with the The Forum for Environmental Mapping and Remediation.
Asbestforum is an independent, professional forum dedicated to knowledge sharing. The forum works to improve the understanding of asbestos and the challenges that may arise, both in connection with the performance of work and consultancy. They aim to have equal conditions for assessing risk and assessing necessary measures.
The Forum for Environmental Mapping and Remediation is Norway's only organisation for the exchange of information on environmental mapping and remediation.
