UKATA is proud to announce its recent collaboration with Heritage High School, to support year 11 students through mock interviews. This initiative is part of the school’s comprehensive Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) programme, aimed at preparing students for their future careers.
Elizabeth Ely, Careers Advisor at Heritage High School invited local businesses to conduct the mock interviews 25th September 2024, to provide students with interview experience and feedback. This support has helped students develop their interview skills and build confidence.
Heritage High School is rooted in wanting the very best for their students. The CEIAG programme throughout all year groups in the school adheres to the principle of independent advice and guidance given to students in accordance with the statutory responsibility placed on schools. The school employs a person-centred approach to interviewing in order to provide non-directive one-to one advice and guidance for students to complement the careers lessons and support provided during the above programme.
Speaking of the event, UKATA’s Events & Marketing Manager, Victoria Castelluccio said “I am delighted to have had the opportunity to work with Heritage High School and support their students through the mock interview process. I am passionate about developing our future work force with the confidence and skills required to enable them to succeed in their future careers.”
