On Thursday 29 June, from 8:00am – 12:30pm, held at the Ledbury Rugby Football Club, join the Hereford and Worcester Working Well Together Group at their free seminar titled “Asbestos Risks, Controls and Management”.
This event will provide attendees with information about the legal and moral reasons for ensuring your workforce is protected against exposure to asbestos, its effects on individuals, and what you can do to mitigate the risk.
This seminar has been designed to provide SMEs with a better understanding of the risks and consequences of exposure to asbestos, as well as the steps that can be taken to manage those risks. The aim is to help SMEs take a proactive approach to asbestos management and ensure the safety of their employees, customers, and the general public.
With speakers from UKATA, the HSE, asbestos surveyors, and removal specialists, as well as speakers and organisations who are campaigning to support those made ill through exposure and also those aiming to improve the availability of relevant information to tradespeople who might encounter asbestos during their day-to-day work.
