In a continued effort to build relations with the local community and support the workforce of the future, UKATA’s Marketing & Events Manager, Victoria Castelluccio attended Netherthorpe Schools Mock Interview Day 9th July 2024.

UKATA has been working with Netherthorpe School, Personal Development Team throughout 2024 to inspire pupils and provide them with the opportunity to develop skills crucial to succeeding in their career and educational goals.

The Personal Development Team at Netherthorpe School invited UKATA to take part in their Mock Interview Day which was open to all Year 10 and 12 students, the objective was to provide each student with a short yet formal 1-1 interview, in which they were asked to provide responses to questions posed by employers. Employers were then invited to provide feedback to students to support their personal development.

The school and local businesses worked together to personalise each session by matching students up with those who shared a passion for the same sector/ industry.

Speaking of the event, UKATA’s Marketing & Events Manager, Victoria Castelluccio said “Having previously worked with Netherthorpe School, I was delighted to be invited back to support the students at the Mock Interview Day. What a fabulous opportunity for all parties involved. I was able to meet some of the wonderful, well mannered students and hear about their career goals and ambitions. They will be great assets to organisations in the future”.
