New websites launched to help jobseekers and employers
COVID-19 has had a huge impact on many parts of the labour market, with some sectors reducing in size and others expanding rapidly. To help jobseekers find work in new areas and employers tap into new labour markets, today (Monday April 27) we’ve launched new jobhelp (link is external) and employerhelp (link is external) websites. These offer labour market information for people looking for work now, and advice for employers to help recruit them.
Job seekers
Jobcentre Plus has launched a new website to help people looking for work.
Jobhelp is designed to help jobseekers across the UK springboard their search. Packed with tips and guidance, it highlights latest vacancies and helps job seekers recognise the value they can bring to new roles, particularly in industries that are keeping the country going.
The site will highlight recruitment drives in expanding sectors like logistics, care, food retail and agriculture, making it a really good starting point for anyone looking for the next step.
Take a look at the site today and pass it on to anyone you know who’s after a new role to help them become #WorkHeroes
Employers
A new Jobcentre Plus site has launched to offer you helpful advice about how to fill your key vacancies, using the Find a Job service.
There’s also useful tips on how to ensure you don’t diminish the response to your job ads by being two specific and help to make sure you recognise transferable skills.
Find a Job can help you reach more than 1.6million registered users and is free to use. Due to Covid-19, many of them have recent experience and skills from other sectors that could really benefit your business. It’s easy to register, post and manage your vacancies online.
