UKATA Chair Graham O’Mahony, in conjunction with IOSH, delivered a webinar titled “Asbestos management in buildings” 20th August 2018.
Part one of a two part programme supporting the IOSH Construction Group. This webinar is aimed at construction safety professionals, managers, and those involved in the management of asbestos.
Graham has worked in the asbestos industry for over 20 years and has an extensive background in asbestos training and legislation, he is the current Chair of The UK Asbestos Training Association who celebrated 10 years of excellence in 2018.

What’s in it for you?
In speaking on this subject, Graham aim is two-fold for both duty holders and project managers, in which he intends for:
Duty holders to develop a better understanding when deciding who the duty holder is and what they are required to do to ensure safe asbestos management within buildings
Project managers to have a better understanding of what to expect when asbestos removal works are undertaken on site.
