Action Mesothelioma Day (AMD) is a national event held annually on the first Friday of July to raise awareness of asbestos and mesothelioma, a devastating cancer caused by asbestos exposure. It is a day to remember and support those affected, while also raising important funds for research into treatment and prevention. Events across the UK will bring together patients, families and campaigners through memorials, fundraising activities and awareness campaigns.
If you would like to get involved, Mesothelioma UK invites everyone to Go Blue for Meso by joining a Blue Light Walk. You can choose to host a walk or join an existing one, every step helps raise awareness whilst honouring those affected and supporting vital fundraising efforts.
